As you know USA Trains has not increased prices since 2008 while the cost of manufacturing products has increased over the past two years. They can no longer continue to absorb these increased costs without raising prices. New prices take effect on July 1, 2010.

The thirteenth annual East Coast Large Scale Train Show (ECLSTS) will open Friday, March 26th in the Memorial Hall at the York Fairgrounds in York, Pennsylvania. This year the show will run for two days with the show open at 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Saturday.

Monterey's Hilltop Express newspaper is reporting: If things go as planned, excursion trains from Monterey to places like Cookeville, Baxter and beyond, could start as soon as May. Even with hopes that they could operate multiple trips on Sat/Sun of two consecutive weekends and maybe some school trips during the week. In the meantime, if your interested in riding from Nashville to several different places, check out the Tennessee Central Railway Museum’s schedule
